GX Studio 1:

Body Pump: For anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit - fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Dance Jam: This class is a total Dance Party!!! A bit of free style choreography with a range of music from the 80's to today's Top 40! Guaranteed to sweat, shake and dance your cares away in this class.

POWER Flex: A barbell workout that incorporates various levels of strength training. Zumba: A mix of low and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning Latin & World rhythm dance party. Taking the "work" out of workout is why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.

Silver & Fit: Low-intensity, slow-to-moderate paced classes focus on stability, mobility, flexibility, and strength for adults at beginner to intermediate fitness levels. Lightweight equipment of hand weights, balls, and bands may be used in addition to the use of a chair when necessary.

Although these classes fit within the certification requirements for SS/S&F, all members are welcome to attend.

Silver Sneakers Classic: Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

Step: Tone up your legs and booty by moving up, over and around the step. Developed as a way to get a high intensity, yet low impact workout - this class will improve your coordination by learning choreographed routines that make the hour fly by!

TBC: Total Body Conditioning!! A totally jam-packed class filled with cardio and strength training that will keep you coming back for more.

Yoga Studio:

Core Pilates: This popular mat workout developed by Joseph Pilates concentrates on core strength, body alignment and muscular balance without adding bulk. If you are looking for that long, lean dancer body, this is the class for you!

Barre Fusion: Barre Fusion is a light cardio and strength workout formatted to be a heart pumping good time that will help you take your fitness to the next level. This workout is designed to increase your cardiovascular strength while helping you to tone, sculpt, and lengthen your muscles from head to toe. Barre and Pilates, what more could you ask for!?

Fusion: Inspired by Pilates and Yoga, this class will guide you through strength and flexibility phases and finish with relaxation. Class begins with standing moves and works down to the floor for grounded strength, flexibility and relaxation. Adaptions will be made for all levels, upbeat music will be used.

Guided Meditation: In a 60-minute guided meditation session, we will explore various styles of Meditation devoted to help overcome stress and connect to inner peacefulness. Many answers can be found within when we go still. Flow into deep tranquility with the help of these guided meditation sessions. This class is free to the public!

Hatha Yoga: Directed toward understanding the Self - beginning with proper alignment of the physical body in a wide variety of yoga postures. Yoga props are used to accommodate stiffness, pain or injury. The mind is actively engaged in making corrections to the postures so that the body learns to work more efficiently. The practice will blend strength and stretch, effort and ease, movement and stillness.

Power Yoga: An exhilarating, total body workout where the fusion of martial arts meets chart topping music! You will learn how to punch effectively, kick safely, perform hooks and upper cuts like the pros all the while you learn to tap the power within!


Gentle Flow: This class is designed for beginners through intermediate students. In Gentle Flow, you'll be guided through postures beginning with the basic poses, but allowing for more challenging poses based on your practice level. Props are encouraged to allow the body to fully achieve each pose comfortably. This is a great class for students looking for a more gentle experience, those who are new to yoga or those who need a change of pace, yet still have the option to take it to the next level. Also the perfect class for students with injuries or limitations.

Good Day Yoga: A classical Hatha yoga practice with simple yet highly effective movements. Will emphasize physical development of posture, alignment, breath awareness and relaxation. Postures will be held longer for endurance.

Restorative Yoga: Restorative Yoga brings harmony to the body's rhythms. It brings you to a state of "being," not "doing," while there is no movement, no effort, and the brain becomes quiet. Props are used to place the body in comfortable, relaxing poses. This enables the mind to clear, the breath to deepen, and the body to easily relax into balance. Restorative Yoga is the practice of deliberate stillness.

Pool:

Aqua Fit: A class for everyone, especially for those with joint ailments or injuries. Get fit with this challenging water workout. After a gentle warm-up in the calm 79 - 85 degree water, you'll ease into the exercises using your own body weight, water resistance dumbbells and noodles. Easy on the joints, this time of water fun will have you splashing your way to improved strength. You'll leave class feeling refreshed.
